Advocate for immigrant families, culturally diverse individuals, and individuals who have experienced trauma.

Hey! I’m Loydmilla, I am a dedicated clinician with a background in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and currently pursuing my Masters in Clinical Counseling at North Carolina A&T, proud Aggie! On my free time, you can catch me somewhere outside in the sun, traveling or dancing the night away with my friends. My passion is to work with children, teenagers, and young adults, but I wholeheartedly welcome clients of all ages and genders.

My unique approach to therapy draws from Eastern and African techniques, which have proven to be transformative in helping clients reconnect with themselves, their surroundings and ancestors. For your healing journey, I use Relational-Cultural theory, a holistic approach that focuses on energy, relationships, self-worth, and the innate desire for deeper connections. I also incorporate Gestalt theory, emphasizing the now, self-awareness, and self-direction.

I am here to be a part of your journey to resilience.
